FINANCIAL ANALYST

Responsibilities:

  • Under the supervision of the Vice President of Finance, the candidate performs financial, operational, and technical analysis.
  • Must be able to compile and analyze financial data. Mathematical concepts and the application of such concepts is necessary.
  • Must have the ability to read, analyze and interpret directives and financial information.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills are essential.
  • This position provides support to enterprise management by ensuring business strategies and financial goals are achieved.

Qualifications

  • BA or BS degree in the area of Finance, Business or Accounting with two to four (2-4) years of significant exposure in financial analysis in the casino/hotel industry.
  • Advanced degree and/or professional certification is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
  • Must possess the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form anddeal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Must be able to handle non-standard situations where some judgment must be exercised.

The Tribal Council gives preference in all of its employment practices to Native Americans. Second preference is given to members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet the job requirements.

As part of Seminole Gaming s employment process, final candidates will be required to obtain gaming licensure by completing a background check with Seminole Gaming Compliance and Regulations. These background checks may include, but are not limited to:

  • Criminal Background Check
  • Drug Screen


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
