This position will be located at the Arthrex manufacturing facility in Ave Maria, FL.

Main Objective:

The Program Manager is primarily responsible for translating the design needs of the Product Management and Design Groups within Arthrex into product.? From the delivery of initial prototypes, to managing the handoff from design to manufacture of formal new products and all Operational activities related to it.? This includes adhering to policies and procedures necessary to ensure efficient and effective execution of these projects.


  • Manages manufacturing product development deliverables, including managing requests for new assembly concepts, and the timely delivery and documentation of manufacturing design and testing.

  • Provide manufacturing input to design and product management groups in an effort to meet their product innovation needs

  • Support product management and design teams in translating product needs to technical designs with specific regard to manufacturability and process capability, and speed of manufacturing launch

  • Partner with Manufacturing Engineering groups to thoroughly understand latest manufacturing capabilities

  • Communicate to design groups the capabilities as they change, and how they may support their need

  • Identify gaps within our abilities where we do not have a manufacturing solution, and partner with MEs on sourcing processes or tools to fill these gaps

  • Mentors/coaches Manufacturing Engineering Technicians to develop new processes

  • Responsible for managing handoff from design to manufacturing product launches, and for identifying the required resources to ensure project needs are met

  • Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans, conferring with senior management and key stakeholders

  • Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications, calculates time requirements, identifying and sequencing project elements and discreet tasks

  • Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving obstacles by providing direction to other Operational groups.

  • Manage periodic project reviews with cross functional groups to ensure that as designs move from concept to formal MPI?s all actions related to the manufacturing, testing, part setup & change controls are done to meet launch dates

  • Communicates project/program status to senior management and key stakeholders against metrics and constraints (scope, cost, schedule, resources, etc.)

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in an Engineering discipline

  • Project Management Certification highly desired

  • At least five years of project management experience utilizing project management methodologies required

  • Leadership experience in successively more responsible leadership roles up to or including Project and Program Management required.

  • Medical device manufacturing experience preferred

  • Technical knowledge in new product development for the desired field is preferred

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

  • PMP Certification preferred

  • Strong negotiating, influencing, and conflict resolution skills

  • Ability to build, nurture, and maintain relationships with all levels of the organization

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

  • PCs and have a command of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word plus any additional communications equipment as needed.

  • Advanced skills in Excel is preferred

  • Experience in project management tools such as MS Project, Workfront, Agile PPM, etc. is required

  • Solidworks experience is preferred

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to comprehend and apply mathematical principles to the degree required to perform the job based upon job requirements.

Knowledge and experience with statistical analysis preferred.

Language and Communication Skills:

Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above. Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management. Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
