Surveillance Agent for Seminole Casino Immokalee - Full-Time

Observes and conducts Close Watch and/or other special surveillance in the assigned areas, identifying procedural infractions and/or criminal activity.
The individual notifies Management and Supervisors of any suspicious activities and/or irregular circumstances and any other special observation request.
Documents procedural infractions incurred by Casino personnel.
This position reports to the Surveillance Manager or designee and is a non-exempt position.
Essential Duties &
Responsibilities:
Observes and monitors Casino operations in order to identify irregular access and/or activities occurring in the restricted areas.
Maintains constant surveillance throughout the Casino, looking to identify irregularities or illegal gaming devices.
Monitors the transfer of all Casino chips, cash and funds allocated within the Casino.
Reports to the Supervisor any suspicious activities and/or irregular circumstances occurring on the Casino floor and/or restricted areas.
Reports to the Supervisor and documents any procedural infractions incurred by Casino personnel.
Maintains daily log sheets and completes Incident Reports to note all unusual customer behavior or procedural errors make by Casino personnel.
Ensures the integrity of the gaming, banking, count room and cash handling procedures.
Shares all pertinent information with the next shift in regards to any suspicious and/or irregular activity occurred during their shift.
In the event of an emergency, reports all suspicious or unusual activity to the proper casino individuals.
Provides pertinent information to Seminole Police Department (SPD), Fire Department, or Emergency Medical Teams when necessary.
Adheres to all Seminole Tribe of Florida policies and procedures.
Adheres to the Rules and Regulations as set by the Seminole Tribal Gaming Commission (STGC) and works within the guidelines of the Tribal Internal Control Standards (TICS).
Performs additional related duties as assigned.
Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent GED required.
Prior experience working with computers, surveillance cameras and monitors, recording devices and hand held communication devices is required.
Knowledge of criminal offenses and the regulations concerning Tribal Gaming is required.
Ability to maintain visual attention and mental concentration for significant periods of time.
Ability to produce organized and clear reports.
Must meet standards established in order to obtain the Employee Gaming License.
Ability to travel to all STOF Reservations and to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
Additional Requirements:
Interest in Seminole Tribe of Florida history, culture and operations.
Knowledge of principles and practices of surveillance procedures.
Knowledge of criminal offenses and the regulations concerning Tribal Gaming.
Ability to maintain visual attention and mental concentration for significant periods of time.
Ability to gather data, compile information and prepare clear and concise reports.
Knowledge of First Aid as well as Fire Safety and relevant law enforcement procedures.
Ability to detect problems and report information to appropriate personnel.
Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
Must be able to operate computers, cameras, monitors, radios and other surveillance equipment used in the performance of their tasks.
Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
Ability to utilize problem-solving techniques.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to travel to all STOF Reservations and other locations as necessary.
Physical - Must possess the ability to:
Sit and observe the video monitors for extended periods of time and remain alert.
Verbally communicate in English in person and over the telephone.
Operate a video switcher, and digital surveillance equipment.
Maintain excellent vision and hearing.
Must be able to tolerate a confined environment, varying noise and temperature levels, and illumination.
Non-Physical - Must possess the ability to:
Native American Preference Minimum of 2 years of experience in Casino Surveillance, Loss Prevention, or Law Enforcement experience is preferred.
Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
May be asked to testify in court on behalf of the Tribe.
Must have basic computer skills and working knowledge of Windows Office suite programs.
Pass a background check.
Must take and Pass a pre-employment drug test.
Must take and pass any random drug test, zero tolerance.
Closing:
The Tribal Council gives preference in all of its employment practices to Native Americans.
First preference in hiring, training, promoting and in all other aspects of employment is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements.
Second preference is given to members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet the job requirements.
As part of Seminole Gaming's employment process, final candidates will be required to obtain gaming licensure by completing a background check with Seminole Gaming Compliance and Regulations, prior to an offer being extended.
